London is an exciting city, but if you have extra time, there are great places to explore just a short journey away. Whether you're interested in history, nature, or a fun day out, there are many options for an easy trip from the capital.

You could visit Windsor, home to Windsor Castle, where the King sometimes stays. It's about 30 minutes from London by train. Oxford is another great choice, known for its famous university and beautiful old buildings. It takes about an hour by train. If you love history, Stonehenge is a must-see. You can get there in under two hours by car or join a tour.
