The Imperial War Museum (IWM) has been collecting items since 1917 to document and preserve all aspects of conflict involving Britain, its former Empire, and the Commonwealth. Highlights include 11 million photographs, 155,000 objects, 33,000 oral history recordings, and over 23,000 hours of film.
